Church Family Update - June 18 (Late Edition)

Ebenezer Update for June 18

Good Evening Everybody! I normally try to get this written first thing in the morning but today I had a number of visits so I’m just now sitting down to get this written. I can’t tell you how nice it is to see people instead of just talking to them on the phone. If you’re in need of a visit, please let me know and I’d be happy to come to your place or meet you here at the church office.

Quick update on reopening for Sunday morning services: Again, thanks to everyone for responding to our survey. We’ve gotten a lot of responses and helpful comments. Council is working out the details of how this will work. You can expect to hear something from council next week. Thanks for your patience. I think it’s safe to say that there is no one who is more eager to get things back to normal than myself. I just got off the phone with a friend and mentor who reminded me to walk patiently through this process and do it right. I’m grateful for that advice and I will try to follow it. 

And now…the best part of the Thursday update…Issue #5 of Wisdom & Laughter—the Paco & Isabelle Update is attached in pdf format and will be posted on our website. Lots of fan club members finished their whole kindness checklist last week. This week Paco & Isabelle personally sent them each a letter and a gift certificate to Dairy Queen so that they could enjoy some ice-cream. And if you were kind to others last week, then let me invite you to enjoy a bowl of ice-cream tonight as well. I know I will (although first I need to check with my kids and see if I earned it).
